Paris 2024 Olympic Styleguide.
The Olympics are the most-watched and lucrative television event there is. They have a global, multi-lingual audience of all ages. While live viewership has fallen off in recent years, more viewers are now watching on streaming devices, so overall viewership is the highest it’s ever been. Branding the Olympics broadcast (tv, online, mobile) and designing all of the diverse applications it requires is one of the most challenging and widest-reaching motion design projects you could tackle.
Inspired by the curves and arcs of many famous Paris landmarks, a logo was created to lead the identity of the Summer 2024 Paris Olympics. The analogous color palette was chosen to fit the time of year the 2024 Olympics is to be held and the energy that surrounds the events and athletes.

Alternative Direction.
This direction acknowledges “ the city of love”, as Paris is so fondly known as. The intent was to use a warm, analogous color palette instead of symbols and direct imagery, while still showing the competitiveness of the games and athletes.
